These terms govern your use of apfinder.co.uk ("AP Finder", "we", "us"), operated by WE-SEMH LTD (company number 17438775, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, our Service Level Agreement, and, for provider accounts, our Data Processing Terms.

1. What AP Finder is

AP Finder is a directory of UK Alternative Provision (AP) settings, outreach providers and consultants. We help people find providers; we don't vet, endorse, employ, or take any responsibility for the quality or suitability of any listed provider's services. Listing information — including content we've sourced from publicly available pages and content a provider has added themselves — is provided for reference only and shouldn't be relied on as a recommendation.

2. Accounts

You need an account to claim or add a listing, post a job, or leave a review. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account. You must give accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used fraudulently, or (per our billing terms below) has no active paid listing for an extended period.

3. Listings, claims and payment

Adding a new listing or claiming an existing one is a paid annual subscription (currently £25/year local, £100/year national — see Pricing), taken via Stripe. Claims are reviewed by us before ownership transfers; we may decline a claim we reasonably believe isn't genuine. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled; if a subscription lapses, editing, photos and job posting are paused 30 days after expiry, and the listing is removed 90 days after expiry if not renewed. We don't offer refunds for part-used subscription periods except where required by law or at our discretion.

4. Content you submit

Whether it's a listing edit, a job post, a review, or an enquiry message, you're responsible for what you submit. It must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe anyone else's rights. We moderate listings, jobs and reviews before they go live and can reject, edit, unpublish or remove content that breaches these terms or that we reasonably consider inappropriate, inaccurate or abusive. You grant us a licence to host and display content you submit as part of running the directory.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no scraping or bulk-extracting our data, no attempting to bypass our bot protection or rate limits, no posting false or misleading listing/job content, no using enquiry or contact details you receive through the site for unrelated marketing, and no attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account or system.

6. No professional advice

Nothing on AP Finder — including AI-assisted suggestions from our "find the right support" matcher — is professional, legal, educational or safeguarding advice. Always carry out your own due diligence (including safeguarding and suitability checks) before engaging any provider found through the site.

7. Liability

AP Finder is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties about the accuracy, completeness or availability of the site or any listed provider, and we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your dealings with a listed provider. Nothing here limits liability we can't lawfully exclude, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; we'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use AP Finder after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
